Happy Convention Week! I’m a bit behind because of this nasty cold that decided to take over my body, but I’m turning around fast and will be ready for all our Inspire.Create.Share. festivities that kick off tonight! So, we’ve got some winners from our most recent DigiChallenge that I think you’re really going to like!

But, before we get to the winners, I just wanted to let you know that Kris and I are taking a bye this week and will resume with PMDC-050 in two weeks. We all need a break from time to time!

Here’s this week’s winners!

Congratulations, and don’t forget to pick up the badge code off to the right! Join Kris and I for PMDC-050 that will start on AUGUST 1st! It’s a milestone challenge, so I’m guessing we’ll have some special incentives for you to play along!!!

Happy 4th of July! I’m sure you are too busy celebrating today to spend time with our new color challenge, but the good news is that it’s just starting today, so you’ve got until next Monday (July 14th)! Since we’ll be past all the patriotic stuff, how about a nice pastel combo for a Summer-y design?

Pixel Maven's DigiChallenge (PMDC-049) Color challenge runs 7/4/14 - 7/14/14. Play along with us at www.pmretreat.com/pmdc @PMRetreat #pixelmaven #mydigitalstudio

We’ve definitely got two different takes on the design to give you some ideas on how to use these colors:

Rules:

  1. This is primarily a digital design challenge, but we don’t discriminate, so if you’re more comfortable with traditional paper, or a hybrid design, we welcome that too! Design team members use Stampin’ Up! products including My Digital Studio software and Stampin’ Up! digital downloads, but you’re more than welcome to use your choice of design software and papercrafting stamps and elements.
  2. Use the challenge sketches or color palettes to create your choice of scrapbook pages, cards, tags… then upload them to the list (below).
  3. Note, that for sketch challenges the sketches will usually be displayed as 4.25×5.5, but you can scale those up to 8.5×11 8×8 or 12×12, etc.
  4. The only other rule is to have fun and stretch those creative muscles!

Submission specifics:

  • Submissions close at Midnight on the second MONDAY of a challenge period, giving you 11 days to create and submit your entry. This challenge will end at midnight on MONDAY, July 14th.
  • Enter as many times as you like.  When uploading with the Linky Lists tool, make sure you put your name in the caption/title area (last name not necessary), and provide an email address. Email addresses will not be published, but are sometimes used to notify challenge winners. In order to enter more than once, the URL needs to be unique, so link directly to the individual blog post, or individual picture if you’re using SplitCoast. If you have an open Facebook page (like a business page) you can use that URL, or you can even upload pictures to a PINTEREST board and link to the picture!
  • TWO design winners will be selected – both by the Design Team.
  • Winners will be notified via blog post the WEDNESDAY after the challenge closes.
  • Winners earn the right to display a custom Pixel Maven’s DigiChallenge Badge and their designs will be uploaded to this Pinterest Board!
  • Add our players badge to your blog (grab the code over on the right), and don’t forget to tell all your friends to play along!

So, what are you waiting for? Time to Get Your Pixel… and Paper On!

Happy Hump Day! This week we had a handful of players, so we’ve got two winners! One digital and one traditional design. One that follows the sketch, one that was inspired by the sketch…

Welcome to another Friday, and the latest Pixel Maven’s DigiChallenge! It’s time to get starry with this week’s sketch as we start to finalize all of our 4th of July plans!

Since the DigiChallenge is also open to traditional paper designs, why not pull out those new star framelits and give this week’s sketch a try? We know you’ll come up with something amazing!!

Hi everyone! Sadly, we didn’t have any participants this week, so there are no winners to announce :(

Kris and I will be back on Friday with a new color challenge. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions on how we might remodel the challenge to gain more interest – please leave a comment or send me an email!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! It’s the official start to Summer – school is out (or almost out), everything’s green and growing and all our grills are ready for burgers, brats and steaks! YES! With all of that, is there room for crafting? Well, of course! Have you ever heard of rainy days? They’re perfect for crafting! So, go out and capture some memories, then come on back and create something using our challenge sketch:
